About us
We are a small family business, just the 3 of us (that includes Chemmy the cat, she’s the supervisor and oversees all that we do, especially lunch-time when cuddles may be on offer)
Jo runs the business day to day and David offers support where and when needed such as at plant fairs, occasional watering and potting on in peak season.
Jo has extensive experience growing cactus and succulents gained whilst caring for the National Collections of Cacti at Chester Zoo. This passion grew and both of us are very active members of the British Cactus and Succulent Society.
We made the decision to grow garden plants too as our love for wildlife and desire to help to reduce plastic pollution inspired us to combine these interests and help to spread the important message about both to all we meet.

It all began when we decided to reduce plastic waste from our home life. We wanted to be able to offer fellow plant lovers the opportunity to buy plants without plastic.

We are passionate about wildlife so we grow garden plants that will encourage wildlife to visit your garden.

We also want to encourage those that have never found a love for plants by growing unusual and interesting things.
