This is a baby right now but when it grows up it will be an absolutely stunning cold hardy Agave. If you have a sheltered spot or are willing to change the soil in your garden dramatically this guy will live happily outside in the UK. This plant is 2- 3 years old and will take 10 years to reach maturity. Take care when handling this plant like all of the other Agaves the tips of the leaves are really spiky and really rigid. This plant requires full sun and water throughout the spring and summer. If overwintering outdoors try to keep the roots dry or as free draining as possible.
This plant is native to Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Mexico
