Astrophytum ornatum v.glabrescens

This beautiful spotted cactus is slow growing and low maintenance. It requires full sun and a regular good watering (allow to dry out between waters)

This plant is native to Mexico

This is is an exciting cactus to watch grow. It is one of the faster growing Astrophytums and is described as having less white than others in this genus but is also very variable. It will start small and round when given enough sunlight but over time as it starts to mature it will get taller.

This cactus is desirable for it’s stout almost naked dark green and star shape body.
